Yeah it was interesting but all the story involving Sun Tzu just irritates me. He is almost as devilish as Katrina.

That's why I love it! The Confederation has been crapped on for basically the entire timeline of the Inner Sphere and especially during the era Battletech covers. I always root for the underdog and its great to see the Capellans be resurgent. Alas it needed someone cunning and 'devilish' like Sun-Tzu ;)

I like the compact and that sun Tzu is working with what he has but even still he is likely the most expansionist of all the IS leaders. I like Davion and Kurita leaders and story. Mostly bc Davion is represented as the overall good guys but I like the Light side of the force haha. The new Stackpole novels that came out with Battletech the game are great mercenary novels.
