Mine is related to an album of Massive Attack I like: Mezzanine. I didn't grasp the album title quite correctly at first since I didn't knew what it meant... That error seemed like a nice nick at some point  ::)

Are you Dutch or got Dutch family?

My mom is of German/Scandinavian/Sioux descent and my father is Scandinavian/Irish/Scottish/English.  So I'm just a Euro-mutt who happens to have good drinking genes.  ;D

I like the German language, but I cannot speak it to save my life.  My mother speaks it near fluently as a second language.  My father also speaks German, but I believe his knowledge is a touch more basic.

My name is derived from one of the lead characters in the book Good Omens* by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman: Aziraphale.

I don't like copying things outright, so when I came to name my character in WoW I wanted something which sounded similar but fit the character better.  I've been using it ever since.

*One of the best books I have ever read and I would heartily recommend it to everyone.

"Jimmy De Griz", later shortened to "JimmyDegriz" or even just "Jim" or "Degriz"

Basically it's a bastardization of the stainless steel rat, "Jim Di Gris"

And I've used it for around six or so years now. It's even started growing on me and being used in person

it's all in my name, Sands. Sands just kinda morphed into Sandman over the years, and it wasn't until that i got on steam that "Sandman" was taken, and instead of trying any kind of l33t variation on it, i just decided to add a word, played around with a few, but always seemed to go back to Dark Sandman, so that's what I went with, and had it ever since. Plus the whole, "Nightmare bringer" thing was pretty awesome to boot, but I figured that out much later.

When I was 11 and reading alot of Black Library novels at the time (Warhammer 40K), and played Dark Angels, so all of my Characters in any game were ones I thought might work well as Space Marine names.

But my name carries over from Mech Warrior 4, when I was also part of CGB, so I wanted to keep it here in MWO also, incase I met some old friends.

This is usually the name I use when my usual is taken, I like to go with something with my name "T.O.D.D.", "The Todd", "Guardsman Todd", ect. Or if I'm feeling particularly lazy.

I met you back then DONTOR for a brief period of time when you were a Cadet in the 50th Striker of what was a Proper CGB (http://z7.invisionfree.com/GhostBearEnclave/index.php?) :D

Anyways, names Tyler. I used to run my own Ghost Bear Clan... of course this was at age 14-17 where I thought I was good, and then by 18 I realized what an idiot I was. After I switched my title for my actual name, I started using my Bloodname which I won from some Russian CGB members way back in the day. I've had an alternate account or two, but not anymore. Using Tyler Jorgensson now for twelve, thirteen years on and off of MW. MW4 Mercs and Vengeance, NBT albeit briefly, MegaMek, MMO, and the BT Forums.
