Well, I pick mine because it has that impact on people who know mythology and for my origins. He was a pagan God so GB have some sort of pagan sun wheel in logo  :) so it fits great  :D.

Dazhbog is Slavic god of Sun and fire, son of Svarog and chief god of Serbs. He was also considered and as the ancestor of all Slavs because at this time it was rare for grandson/granddaughter to meet grandpa. He was imagined as a man wearing either wolf or bear fur who becomes older at winter and young at summer.

His totem animal was a wolf, therefore wolf was a sacred animal and killing it was considered great sin. Wolves were considered as messengers of Dazhbog, while he himself could shift into a white wolf. There was a belief that each winter he is visiting people's homes and gifting gold to good ones. That belief passed into Christianity, especially in Serbia, and the visitor was called Poloajnik.

During Christianization, his cult was exchanged with the cult of Saint Sava, while Dabog became lame Daba - the most powerful demon in Hell. Reasons why he was demonized are various, possibly because his cult was the strongest in Serbia or because he was considered also as the god of Nav - Slavic underworld and world of dead.

As a kid was very much into sealife especially dolphins and other toothed whales (well suppose as I then went onto make a degree of it I can't say it was just a childish thing) this meant when it came time to get an email account and usernames I went with OrcaUK (Orca Orcinus is a killer whale waaay more masculine than saying I like dolphins :P ).

When it came time to make secondary accounts or if my first choice was taken (I got the name in most places before Command and Conquer had vehicles called it so then suddenly got competition) I wasn't sure what to take but then saw a documentary describing orcas as the wolves of the sea so I became LupineUK for things such as gaming.

Not got any other accounts on MWO but just didn't want same email and username though I didn't think  to capitalise UK for the user name but ah well.

Unlike Ancient Demise I really am ancient! I started a clan for my grandson called Raptors and I joined as Ancient Owl. So I brought this name into MWO. For many years I have been Victor Battle and it was time for a change.
